Flying Fijians embrace support

September 6, 2015 4:58 am

The Vodafone Flying Fijians are feeling right at home during their stay in England ahead of the Rugby World Cup, which kicks-off in 12 days time.

Coach, John McKee says the support from Fijians in Britain has been overwhelming since they arrived as the team prepares for a hit-out against Canada tomorrow.

“There’s quite a large contingent in the area of Aldershot and Guildford, where we are camped. The boys certainly get a lift from the support they get and we’re hoping for a good crowd of Fijian support at The Stoop.”
