Vodafone Flying Fijians coach John McKee says injured duo Gabriel Lovobalavu and Napolioni Nalaga will be monitored closely in the next few days.
McKee will be naming his 31-member squad for the World Cup next Friday.
The two didn’t take part in the fitness test yesterday but the mentor believes they will be fit for contention for the World Cup.
“Some niggling injuries from the PNC just getting through those. They were running today (yesterday) but didn’t want to do turning at the yoyo test so we just keep monitoring the guys over the next couple of days and make an assessment of the guys for the final selection next week.”
The Flying Fijians depart the country on August 31st.
A warm-up match against Canada on September 6th in England is the Flying Fijians only build-up game in their preparations before the World Cup opener against the hosts on September 19th.
