Flying Fijians creates history after defeating France

The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians side made an historic performance after upsetting France 21-14 in its Test match this morning.

This is Fiji’s biggest win under the guidance of Coach John McKee.

Fiji took an early lead as winger Semi Radradra scored their first try 20 minutes into the game while Josua Tuisova ran over the score line in the 31st minute.

Vereniki Goneva’s try was disallowed before heading into the break, allowing France to lead 14 – 12 at half time.

Fiji provided a good and strong defense as they blocked the French side from scoring tries in the second spell.

Ben Volavola made three successful penalties and a conversion.

Volavola confirmed the win for Fiji in the dying seconds of the game with a penalty kick.

Two tries from Fiji were disallowed by the referee.

Meanwhile, the Rugby World Cup will be held next year in Japan.
