Flying Fijian under-20 side lost to Australia

The Vodafone Flying Fijian under-20 side lost its second campaign of the Oceania Rugby Championship to Australia 16-0 last night.

The two sides kept their defence tight throughout the match with majority of the points scored through penalty kick for the Aussie.

Australia took the lead near the half-time mark with 7-0, before converting another penalty kick early in the second spell to further their lead.

The strong defence of the baby Flying Fijians persisted through the second half, however, minor mistakes costs them the game.

Meanwhile, Fiji lost its first Oceania match 54-7 to New Zealand.

They will take on Japan in its third match at the Gold Coast in Australia.
