Fiji’s five top weightlifters will from this week test themselves for the last time in the Australia International Open ahead of the Commonwealth Games in April.

Eileen Cikamatana, Apolonia Vaivai, Manueli Tulo, Poama Qaqa and Taniela Rainibogi will represent Fiji in the Australian Open on Friday and Saturday.

The competition is specifically designed to provide the athletes of the Oceania Region with much needed international competition as part of the preparation for the Commonwealth Games.
