Five swimmers to represent Fiji in Commowealth

The Fiji Swimming has confirmed five swimmers will participate in the upcoming Commonwealth Games.

Matelita Buadromo, Cheynne Rova, Paul Ilaisa, Tachi Vakasama and Epeli Rabua will be part of Team Fiji.

Head Coach Sharon Pickering says the swimmers has started their preparations and is confident of a good outing this year.

“Are very strong team they’re our top swimmers 18 years and over and so preparations is going very well we have Cheynne and Paul are training in America cause there is a university there they’re preparation is going well they’re doing training sessions Matelita and Epeli train here with me at the Aquatic center and Tachi is with Rosemary Rova in Nadi.”

The Fiji Swimming team aims to better their personal record at the Commonwealth games in Gold Coast Australia.
