Five junior surfers will for the first time represent Fiji at the ISA World Junior Titles in Huntington Beach, in California.

The surfers who are from the Korotogo Board Riders Club, departed for California yesterday in the hopes of stamping Fiji further on the surfing map.

Surfer, Kalani Wakeham, says competing at international level is nothing new as their recent trip to Vanuatu saw them win a few age categories.

_“It’s a big event as it known as the World Junior Titles which will put us in the qualifying series. I’m really looking forward to its and hope I learn a lot from it.”
The competition begins on Saturday.
