Fijians shine in hit-out

A host of Fijian players were in action yesterday in the latest round of Super Rugby pre-season games.

Solomoni Rasolea scored a try for the Western Force in their 34-26 victory over the Asia Pacific Dragons.

Also playing for the Force was new recruit and winger, Semisi Masirewa.

Andrew Durutalo and John Stewart featured for Japan’s newly-formed franchise, the Sunwolves in their 52-24 win over the Top League select side.

Former Fiji Bati rep, Etonia Nabuli scored a try for the Queensland Reds in their 18-31 loss to the Brumbies.

Nabuli played at wing, while fellow Fijian, Samu Kerevi, featured at outside center.

The Brumbies had the services of Henry Speight and Tevita Kuridrani.

Seta Tamanivalu played at center for the Chiefs in their 17-12 win over the New South Wales Waratahs.

The 2016 Super Rugby season kicks-off on February 26th.
