Fijiana have proved a lot of critics wrong after a superb performance in the Oceania Women’s Rugby Championship.

Technical advisor Etuate Waqa says playing six matches and losing only to Australia and New Zealand have proven they are serious about reaching the World Cup next year.

“At the same time we know that when thwey play against Australia and New Zealand siince they have already made it to the world cup it shows that Fiji can play against any team.”

Fijiana finished third overall earning the right to play in the Asia play-offs in India.

They have to win this tournament to head to Moscow.
