The TFL Fijiana side has qualified for the semi finals of the Oceania 7’s winning two pool matches so far today.
Fiji defeated Cook Islands 48-0 and then accounted for Tonga 62-nil in their second match.
Fiji has looked good in their plays and is yet to concede a point in the tournament.
The team’s last match is against Samoa at 6.10pm today.
In other matches, Samoa defeated Tonga 35-0 while Papua New Guinea lost to the Cook Islands 29-7.
In the men’s competition Australia made a flying start with a 62-nil drubbing of Nauru in their first match.
Papua New Guinea defeated American Samoa 47-nil while Samoa accounted for Solomon Islands 48-nil.
In an exhibition match, the New Zealand Development side defeated Auckland 31-12.
