Fijiana head coach Elenoa Kunatuba has named her squad for the asian Rugby Womens championship.

Kunatuba says it was a big challenge trying to select the best ones but she remains hopeful for a good outing.

“It’s a big challenge but knowing these players has been playing local competitions. I know they’re up for it and, its gonna be a baptism of fire but I have enough confidence and trust in the players they will be able to do well in the Asian qualifiers.”

Kunatuba has retained eight members of the team that represented Fiji at the Oceania Womens qualifiers.

Four new team members make their debut for the Fijiana in Pune.

The Fijiana are in Pool B with Chinese Taipei, South Korea and Sri Lanka on the 6th-7th October.
