Fijiana losses third match

The Fijiana team suffered their second loss in the world cup this morning going down to Japan 15-14.

The team’s discipline cost them the game as Merewai Cumu copped a yellow card during the match.

The Japanese ran in three tries while the Fijiana only managed two.

The two tries were scored by Raijeli Daveua and Asinate Savu and were converted by Viniana Riwai.

The Fijiana have now missed out on the main cup competition but still have a match remaining against China at 12:54pm today.

In other matches South Africa thrashed Mexico 34-0 while Brazil beat Papua New Guinea 15-12 and China was held scoreless against England 38-0.
