The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team lost to England 10-29 in the 7th Place Playoff of the Sydney 7s today.

The Fijiana earlier defeated Japan 19-10 to qualify for the playoff.

In the Cup semifinals, Australia will meet Russia while New Zealand will meet the winner of the Canada and France match.

Meanwhile, the Fiji men’s team will play Russia in its second pool match at 5.09pm today before facing New Zealand at 8.42pm.

The Cup quarter-final kicks off at 12.28pm tomorrow, semi-final begins at 6.36pm and the final is schedule for 9.48pm.
