The Fijiana have lost their opening match in the women’s rugby competition at the Pacific Games.

The Iliesa Tanivula coached side was beaten 26-7 by Australia and play Samoa at 5.40pm.

Meanwhile, the Fiji women’s football side drew 1-all with the Cook Islands this afternoon.

The Cooks led 1-0 before Sofi Diyalowai scored the equalizer in the second half.
