The TFL Fijiana side are favorites to qualify for the Rio Olympics from the Oceania 7’s after an amazing display on Day One.

Fiji defeated Samoa 41-nil in their last pool match today.

Fiji had earlier defeated Cook Islands 48-nil and then accounted for Tonga 62-nil.

The team’s last pool match is against Papua New Guinea at 10.22am tomorrow.

The semi finals in the women’s division will be played at 12.58pm while the final is scheduled for 5.32pm.

The winner of the competition qualifies for the Olympic Games in Brazil next year.
