The Fiji Airways women’s 7s team is expecting a tough encounter in the pool stages of the Langford tournament which begins in Canada tomorrow.
Coach Iliesa Tanivula tweeted the weather is very cold and apart from the training, the girls have been acclimatizing well.
Tanivula added he has had to re-look at the training sessions so that players can not only adjust to the weather but also become familiar with the artificial turf.
Fiji is pooled with defending champions New Zealand, England and Brazil.
The Fijiana sits on the tenth position with 15 points while Australia tops the standings with 56 points.
The Langford 7s tournament kicks off tomorrow and ends Monday.
