Fijian referees to undergo fitness tests

All referees who want to officiate in next year’s National Football League competition will have to undergo fitness test at the starting of next year.

The office of Director Referees and Fiji Football Referees Association will be conducting referees fitness test on the 4th of January at Subrail Park in Labasa for the northern division, at Ba’s Fiji FA Academy Grounds for the Western division and at the ANZ Stadium in Suva for the Southern division referees.

Experienced referees such as Dina Mani, Mukesh Chand, Rakesh Varman and Balram Nair will be coordinating the tests.

The test is compulsory for all athletes as their names will be forwarded to relevant authorities for approval to officiate in the League which starts on the 10 of January.
