Fijian Latui defeats Kagifa Samoa

The Fijian Latui has beaten Kagifa Samoa 37-31 in their third Global Rapid Rugby match in Auckland, New Zealand.

Eroni Mawi and Meli Nakarawa were shown yellow cards with 11 minutes left to play as Fiji was leading 34-19.

Nakarawa was sent off for a deliberate knock on and Kagifa was a awarded a penalty try as a result as well.

With 34-26 lead, the Latui managed to slot a penalty through flyhalf Enele Malele who also scored a try in the match.

But the Samoans crossed over for another try with just four minutes left to play and they failed to capitalize on the possession they had with the time remaining.

Mesulame Dolokoto, Luke Tagi, Peni Naulago and Jone Manu scored the other tries for the Latui.
