The Fiji Yachting Association has lined up couple of major events for this year.

Secretary Neville Koop says, they are working closely with the national team coach Emanuel Jamardo to get the local sailors ready for the competitions.

“In all sports in Fiji the talent isn’t enough and international coaches is necessary to make our talent become more success that they going to be. We really excited to have Jamardo who started with us late last year and he has done a lot of works to improve the skills of our sailors.”

The association is now gearing up for the Oceania Champion in Tasmania in Australia next month and National Championship which will be held in the mid-year.
