The Fiji Women’s Hockey side has won the Gold medal at the Oceania intercontinental Cup final in Australia.

Fiji defeated Samoa 5-2 in the final this afternoon.

Vanuatu took out the Gold in the men’s division defeating Samoa 11-1 in the final.

The tournament was a shorter version of the game which featured five-a-side based format.
