The Vodafone Fiji women’s football side made a good start in its first international friendly against Samoa yesterday at the Fiji FA Academy ground in Ba.

The Fijian side defeated Samoa 5-0.

Jotivini Tabua scored a double while Samoa defender got a own in the first half.

Luisa Tamanitoakula and Cema Nasau scored a goal each in the second spell to claim the win.

Fiji will again play Samoa in its final international friendly on Thursday at the same venue at 3pm.
