The Vodafone Fiji football women’s team will be looking forward to creating a history when they face Papua New Guinea in the OFC Nations Cup semifinal today.

Coach Marika Rodu says they have never beaten PNG and the girls are ready to give their best shot and qualify for the final.

“We want to change that. What better time it is as we have a good pack of girls that can change this history. It’s a matter of paying attention to the details of the game and believing in each other and the vision.”

Fiji plays PNG at 5pm today and in the other semifinal at the same time New Zealand faces host New Caledonia.
