Fiji wary of England in its last pool match in Cape Town

The Fiji Airways men’s 7s players are bracing themselves for a hard-hitting clash against Dubai bronze medallist England.

The two sides meet on their last pool match of the Cape Town tournament tomorrow.

Coach Gareth Baber says they have looked at areas where they can counter the strong defence of their English opponents.

The England game will be a physical game and we know that and their defence has been improved in the last months and they’ve been working on that in the off season.”

Fiji plays France in its first match at 9.59 tonight, then faces Kenya at 1.20 tomorrow morning before playing England in its final pool match 5.03am.

The Cup quarter-final begins at 11.04pm tomorrow, semi-final will be held at 3.56am on Monday and the final is scheduled for 6.44am.
