Fiji-Wales evenly matched: Lose

June 4, 2012 1:01 am

Rugby commentator, Willie Lose says the Fiji-Wales Junior World Championship match is the one to watch in South Africa on Tuesday morning.

Not only is this the tournament opener, Lose believes both sides are evenly matched and it’s the highlight of first round pool games.

“I say that only because Fiji won the encounter last year and in 2010 Wales won on both accounts and that’s a match where Fiji want to stay as a core team. Speaking to coach Sale, he says they’re in sixth position and it’s the best they’ve been in a long time. And his words, not mine he says they feel they are the start of the sausage factory, where they don’t get to eat the sausage on the barbecue at the end… but they just slowly bring these guys through to develop their skills and it’s going to be a game evenly matched.”
