Fiji Table Tennis women’s doubles team created a major upset in the Cooks Islands Junior and Cadet Open beating Australia three sets to two on the day one of the competitions in Rarotonga.

Sisters, Sally Yee and Grace Yee were in scintillating form, getting a win over the Australian pair, Danni-Elle Townsend and Parveen Kaur.

The youngest Yee, Grace run hot in the game last night, with an outstanding performance over Kaur in the last set of the game.

The Fijian pair later lost to China three nil in their second game in the Cook Islands.
