The Vodafone Fiji Under-20 side is one step away from qualifying for the Junior World Trophy in Zimbabwe next year.

Vasikelu Mudu, Jone Vuki and Laisiasa Bogidrau scored two tries each while ten other players dotted down a try each for the hosts.

Captain, Isimeli Naivaludua says the players looked to improve in each outing and the focus now turns to the final match of the tournament against Tonga.

“The boys just worked on their weaknesses from last week. We went back to camp and saw our review and the coach was able to point out our weaknesses for us to work on.”

In the other match yesterday, Tonga defeated Papua New Guinea 55-16.

Fiji will face Tonga in the deciding match of the Oceania Rugby Junior Trophy at 3pm on Saturday at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
