The National Under-19 cricket side is geared up for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers in Samoa next month.

Team Captain, Tuwai Yabaki says, their aim is to win the competition against three other Pacific rivals and qualify to the World Cup next year.

“The team is aware of the tough task ahead. The biggest challenge will come from Vanuatu and PNG but hosts Samoa cannot be counted out. We have prepared well and our target for sure is the World Cup."

The side leaves on the fourth of next month with the tournament beginning two days later.
