June 17, 2015 12:53 am

The Vodafone Fiji Under-20 players will not be automatic inclusions in the Fijian Under-23 team for the Pacific Games.

Seven players from the Under-20 World Cup squad will join the U23 side in camp next week before the final team for the Pacific Games is announced.

Fiji Football Association vice president and national team director, Taranesh Reddy, says the final decision will be made by national coach Juan Carlos Buzzetti.

He adds the best players in each position will be selected as the Pacific Games will also act as the Olympic Qualifiers.

Meanwhile, the side plays Vanuatu in the last match today and is in a must win position if it is to win the tournament.

The side has two points after as many matches, tied with the Solomon Islands, while Vanuatu leads with four points and New Caledonia has a point.

The Fiji-Vanuatu match starts at 3.30pm.
