“The boys played a good game, on top of that, New Caledonia were a good opponent so the game was a good one in the end. As we planned, the boys went in firing in the first 15 minutes of the first and second halves. We could not get a goal in the first half but we managed to do it in the second.”

Fiji leads the points table with six points followed by Papua New Guinea on four points followed by Vanuatu in third.

Fiji takes on Papua New Guinea in its next match tomorrow at 2:30pm at the ANZ Stadium.
