The Vodafone Fiji football side is gearing up for the next uphill battle ahead of them in the OFC U19 Championship in Tahiti today.

Head coach Bal Sanju Reddy says they have left behind their 3-1 win against Vanuatu and they know what is expected from them come the match against Solomon Islands.

“We have identified our mistakes from the first game and working on it for improvements. The preparation is going on quite well as everyone is expecting a tough encounter with both Fiji and Solomons entering the match with a win each.”

Meanwhile, national coach Christophe Gamel has joined them in camp to assist them with the technical aspect of the games.

Fiji plays Solomon Islands at 1pm today.
