Fourteen players will represent Fiji in the 2017 International Cricket Council Under-19 East Asia Pacific World Cup Qualifier next month in Samoa.

Team Manager Ponijese Saulekaleka says the team is gearing up for the tournament and hoping to qualify for the World Cup in New Zealand next year.

“I think preparations are going on very well and the boys have been training for the past six weeks for the World Cup qualifiers in Samoa next month. We want to do well and come out winners against the rest.”

The tournament will be held from the 8th to the 16th of August in Samoa.
