The Fiji Under-18 men’s rugby side began its Commonwealth Youth Games campaign on a high note with a 44-0 drubbing of the Cayman Islands.
The Ben Ryan coached-side proved too strong for its Caribbean counterparts and has stamped its mark as the team to beat in the competition.
Earlier yesterday, the women’s side thumped hosts, Samoa, 46-5 before losing to Australia 36-0.

Fiji has won 2 gold and 2 silver medals so far at the games, which concludes today with the closing ceremony to be held tomorrow.
