The Fiji Under-17 football side breaks camp today for the festive season as it prepares for next year’s Oceania qualifiers.
This will be the last break before the team regather’s on the 28th of this month.
Coach Shalen Lal says his team is now focusing on the competition ahead as uptil now they have been developing the team.
The side leaves for New Zealand on the 15th of next month where they will play four build up matches.
The side then departs for Tahiti on the 1st of February where the competition begins on the 11th.
The side has been in camp since February and the Fiji FA has high hopes of a good outing at this tournament.
The two finalist of the tournament qualifies for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup to be played in India in October next year.
