Fiji tour prep on track

The Fiji Football team’s preparations for the three-match friendly tour of Vanuatu next month are well underway.

Although coach, Frank Farina is away overseas for personal reasons, the national team has been training well under assistant coach, Imdad Ali.

The 34-member squad is camping at the Fiji FA Academy Football Academy in Ba and will be trimmed to 24 before the team departs for the tour.

Fiji will play three matches in the tour next month; two against the Solomon Island and one against Vanuatu.

New-Zealand-based star forward, Roy Krishna will feature in one of Fiji’s matches.

Fiji will take on Vanuatu in its opening match of the tour on November 7th at Port Vila and its last match will be against Solomon Islands on November 13th at Honiara.
