The Fiji netball side made a good start to the Digicel Punjas International Series after defeating Papua New Guinea One 57-39 in Suva last night.

Coach Kate Carpenter says it was a good opportunity to see where her players are in terms of fitness.

In another match, Singapore defeated PNG Two 47-34.

In today’s matches, PNG One meets PNG Two at 3pm and Fiji plays Singapore at 5pm.
