Fiji to take each game at a time

The Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Nacanieli Cawanibuka says his side will take each game at a time as they go into defend the Dubai 7s title in the weekend.

Cawanibuka says all the teams have improved on the 7s arena and they will target to beat Fiji in the first tournament of the Sevens World Series.

“The team is really focused on the first game. We cannot really look too far ahead of us as all teams on the circuit are very tough opposition now and on the day any team can slip up and that’s your tournament gone. So really for us as a group we focusing on Canada and we will take it from there.”

Cawanibuka is likely name his final 12 member squad for Dubai later today.
Fiji’s first match is against Canada at 7.52pm on Friday after which they play Wales at 11.36pm.

The team’s last pool match is against Argentina at 4.48am on Saturday.
