The Fiji Airways men’s 7s team will take on New Caledonia in the cup quarterfinal of the Oceania 7s today.championship.
This after the Fijian side defeated Papua New Guinea 35-0 in their second pool match last night.
Fiji scored five unanswered tries in the match which came from Filimoni Botitu, Alasio Naduva, Waisea Nacuqu, Apenisa Cakaubalavu and Beniamino Vota.
Fiji earlier beat Solomon Islands 47-0 in its opening pool match yesterday.
Fiji takes on New Caledonia in the last quarterfinal at 12.03pm today.
The first quarter final sees Australia to play Tonga at 11am, New Zealand meets PNG in the second while Cook Islands battle Samoa in the third quarter final.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Fijiana takes on Australia in the cup semi-final at 1.27pm while New Zealand meets PNG at 1.06pm.
