National teams from Papua New Guinea and Singapore will be competing against Fiji at the Digicel Punjas International Series in Suva next week.

Fiji coach, Kate Carpenter says this will give her players another chance to impress her before the final selections.

“It’s all about match play so we need to look at girls at this stage, the process of how they play and how they perform. So they have got lots of opportunities, the International series, NSL and then the final trials that will take place on the 9th of May.”

The first match of the series will be between Digicel Punjas Fiji and PNG One on Friday at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
