The Fiji Airways 7s team produced a scintillating performance in pool play to book a place in the Cape Town 7s quarter finals tonight.

After being criticized of their performance last week, the side defied all odds and showed their dominance as they won all their pool matches which included an epic win over England this morning.

They earlier thrashed France 50-0 in its opening match and beat Kenya 38-7 before claiming a narrow 21-19 win over England.

This means, the Gareth Baber coached side will take on Spain in the second cup quarterfinal tonight.

South Africa meets Scotland in the first cup quarterfinal at 11:04 tonight, Fiji takes on Spain at 11:26pm and Australia battles New Zealand at 11:48pm while USA takes on England at 12 midnight.

The semi-final will be held at 3.56am tomorrow and the final is scheduled for 6.44am.

Meanwhile, former Fiji 7s captain Jerry Tuwai scored his 100th try in the world 7s series last night.
