Fiji to have scrimmage against Uganda

The Vodafone Fiji 7s side will have a scrimmage session with Uganda national team before they finalise on the final 12 for the Cape Town 7s.

Fiji 7s coach Nacanieli Cawanibuka says the players are getting off the jet leg and will hit a session with Uganda which will give him a fair idea of the areas to

“It will be a good opportunity for us just to run our players and also to look at the few combinations and make those adjustments in our line up and selection for the final 12 for the weekend.”

Fiji kicks off its Cape Town 7s campaign against Japan at 11.05pm on Saturday.

They then take on Kenya at 2.06am on Sunday before playing France in the last pool game at 6.12am.
