December 2, 2015 11:04 pm

The Vodafone Flying Fijians will take on England in the Northern Hemisphere tour next year.

This comes after the World Rugby Tier 2 Nations Conference in Los Angeles decided that in each November Test Series, each Tier Two nation will play at least two Tier One teams.

Flying Fijians coach, John McKee says works are in progress to line-up France as the second Tier One team in next year’s tour.

“That’s really important for us in building towards the Japan Rugby World Cup. Playing England next year is a big game for us, and possibly France and probably Romania as well.”

Fiji will host Tonga and Samoa in the Pacific Nations Cup next year as well as one other test match yet to be decided.

In 2017, the national side will face Australia in the June Test series and there is a possibility of hosting two Tier 1 teams at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
