The Vodafone Fiji 7s side will have no distractions from training as there are no promotional engagements in Cape Town.

Fiji 7s manager Ropate Kauvesi says the team will only concentrate on recovery and training in the week before the Cape Town 7s.

“There is no official engagement here in South Africa just a bit of time off on Thursday whereby the boys will travel around for a look out and scenery view of Cape Town.”

Fiji kicks off its Cape Town 7s campaign against Japan at 11.05pm on Saturday.
They then take on Kenya at 2.06am on Sunday before playing France in the last pool game at 6.12am.
