The Fiji Airways national side was thumped 29-nil by Australia in their opening match at the Silicon 7s in USA today.

Fiji was dominated in all aspects of the match getting outscored by five tries to none.

Australia scored two tries in the first spell to lead 10-nil at the break.

Amenoni Nasilasila was red carded in the second spell for a dangerous tackle.

Fiji’s next match is against Japan at 10.38am after which we play China at 2.10pm.
