Fiji thrash Canada in RWC warm up match

The Vodafone Flying Fijians have won their last build-up game before the Rugby World Cup, thrashing Canada this morning.

A Nikola Matawalu and Waisea Nayacalevu brace of tries saw the side win 47-18.

Metuisela Talebula also got a try, while Nemani Nadolo managed 22 points from his boot.

Matawalu was injured in the game but should be okay for the World Cup opener against England on September 19.

Fiji showed a lot of improvement from the July Tests and coach John McKee will be happy with what he saw.

The team will play England at 7 am on Saturday week.
