The Fiji team to take part in the Netball World Cup in Australia in August has been named.

Leading the team is skipper Mere Rabuka-Neiliko, who is joined by Matila Waqanidrola and both will be playing in their fourth World Cup. They are joined in defence by Alisi Naqiri and Episake Kahatoka.

The midcourt players are Alesi Waqa, Jane Costello, Sera Dakuitoga and Nina Cirikisuva, while the shooters are Taraima Mitchell, Maria Lutua, Una Rauluni and Afa Rusivakula.

The tournament will be played from August 7-16 and also before that take on hosts New Zealand Silver Ferns on July 23.
