The Fiji Sports Commission has confirmed it has approved funding for international coaches for the yachting and surfing.

Commission chief executive, Peter Mazey, says this is due to their outstanding performance last year and hoping other sporting bodies could also step up.

“We already funding the international coaches that are here I don’t have indications of any new coaches yet but we just have approved international coaches for yachting they have been doing very well also we have one for surfing everybody else thinks international coaching is just Rugby but it’s not”

He adds that all sporting bodies will have a meeting to look at the issues that needs attendant.
