Fiji-Samoa tournament decider: Leo

July 23, 2015 12:29 am

Former Manu Samoan lock forward, Dan Leo believes the Samoa versus Flying Fijians Pacific Nations Cup rugby clash this weekend is a tournament decider.

The 39-capped forward says the winner on Saturday’s clash will be favourite to take out the PNC title and earn much-need confidence heading into the World Cup in September.

Fiji and Samoa recorded wins in the opening round of the PNC last weekend over Tonga and USA respectively.

Leo has labelled Fijian back-line players, Waisea Nayacalevu, Levani Botia and Metuisela Talebula as game-breakers who are able to turn the tide of a match.
Fiji coach, John McKee will name his line-up today.

The Flying Fijians will face Samoa in the second round of the PNC at 12pm on Saturday at Bonney Field in Sacramento, California.
