The Fiji Rugby Union is starting to educate its players on how to use their earnings to better secure their future after finishing off playing.

With a number of stars plying their trade abroad and also the sevens reps being contracted, FRU wants to ensure the players learn about saving for the future.

FRU chief executive, Radrodro Tabualevu, says it is important for players to take heed and not only concentrate on the current situation.

They need be mindful of the money that they have .You have a very short playing career and you make sure you use your money wisely as you have life after rugby.”

The FRU will be starting with its 2015 operations in January with the World Sevens Series and the World Cup being the main events.
