The Fiji Rugby Union continues to lose more players overseas.

Fiji Under 20s reps Tikilaci Vuibau, Samu Kerevi, Alifereti Mocelutu and Jimilai Rokoduru have been snapped up by overseas clubs.

FRU development manager, Sale Sorovaki says they can only hope for the best for these players.

“It’s all at the initial stages at the moment and whatever the outcome of these deals it will be up to the players whether to go or stay here and its unfortunate that there’s nothing we can do to stop them from going abroad."

Fiji 7s assistant coach, Etuate Waqa says big losses will also occur in the national team next season.

“Metuisela Talebula, Joeli Lutumailagi and Waisea Nayacalevu and these are some of the players who will be very hard to replace. What I have mentioned here is that these are really big shoes to fill.”

The national sevens squad is expected to start training in September.
