Fiji Residents starts off-season training

The Vodafone Fiji Residents team has started its off-season training in preparation for the 2017 rugby league.

Resident’s Strength and Conditioning Coach Etonia Naiwasetawa says off-season training continues for the Fiji Residents side in the middle of the festive season.

“After our last game last month, we have a break for two weeks and this is the fourth week of training for the Eastern boys and also Residents players from around the zone like Ra, Nadroga, Nadi and Lautoka”.

He says training in the festive season is something new for the boys and they are looking forward to to lift their power component.

Naiwasetawa adds players know they’re fighting for a spot in the national team to the Rugby League World Cup next year.
